PATHS, a permanent 7 piece site specific installation by Steinunn Thórarinsdóttir was part of a ribbon cutting ceremony for Hall Arts that took place on the 28th of October. Contemporary sculpture and art are integral design components in Craig Hall´s developments. The HALL Arts location provides a unique opportunity to showcase owned and newly commissioned works from the HALL Collection for the public’s enjoyment.
HALL Arts is in the center of the world-renowned Dallas Arts District, a mixed-use, multi-phase destination development designed by internationally acclaimed architects HKS INC. The first phase of the project includes KPMG Plaza at HALL Arts, an 18-story office building with premium restaurant space and the adjacent half-acre HALL Texas Sculpture Walk.
PATHS by Steinunn Thórarinsdóttir is a 7 figure installation of seated, standing and wall mounted life size figures. The Paths figures can be seen from many different viewpoints from the plaza, within the building and neighbouring streets. The installation references themes of contemplation and wayfinding.
